Somebunny turned ten months old a few days before Easter!
Charlie, you're almost 17 pounds - tiny by America's gargantuan baby standards, but hefty for the Smith family!
You are pulling yourself up on everything and have turned into a brilliant little napper. As the summer is nearing and some of our weekly activities are ending, it has been so nice to stay at home and let you nap in your cozy crib! I'm looking forward to a long, relaxing summer with no commitments.
Of all our babies, you like being alone the least. As soon as you're settled into your crib you turn around to make sure I'm still there. After a few extra cuddles and pats, I head for the door, and am routinely greeted with heartbroken sobs. It's adorable, really. You are such a perfect fourth baby - so used to being amid the family craziness that you're instantly lonely when we're not around. We love that about you, Chilly.
You were fairly unimpressed with your first Easter, and slept through almost the entire day. We didn't even get any pictures of you with your brothers and sister in your Easter outfit! We're going to wait for the next sunny day and get you all dolled up so we can remember how handsome you were in your blue gingham button down and starched khakis.
You love your thumb. Every time you get a little sleepy you stick your thumb in your mouth and lay your little head down on the nearest shoulder.
We love you, dear darling boy.
What a gift from God you are!
And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him."
Luke 2:40
Charlie, you are the CUTEST baby in the world. Boy do I ever love you! Nana
